Residential Solar Sales

Seeking successful direct home sales reps focused on residential solar sales. | Both 1099 and W-2 positions available based on experience and proven solar success.

DESCRIPTION

Helio Energy Solutions is looking for highly motivated and talented people that are passionate about renewable energy, delivering the best customer experience, and earning significant income while doing it. This position is for direct in-home or virtual sales in the residential solar market, based in Connecticut. Being the face of the company to Helio Solar clients, we are seeking to bring on reps who are driven to build their network, generate leads, and close deals weekly.

Entry into this position is 100% commission based with quarterly bonuses based on sales results. However, for reps with more than 3-years selling residential solar and a verifiable proven track record of success, a commission structure with draw can be discussed.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • In-Home sales of solar electricity to warm prospects from both company and referral sources.

  • Walk homeowner through discovery phase of sales process (site survey, bill analysis, client interests, establishing rapport and trust)

  • Through use of tablet, utilize a variety of web-based apps to walk the customer through the buying journey established by Helio Solar

  • Record all sales activities in company CRM (customer relationship management) tool

  • Participate in bi-weekly remote sales calls, quarterly sales meetings, and training as required

  • Must have desire and drive to earn over $100K a year

  • Need to have verifiable success with in-home sales (typically 2+ years of in-home selling experience)

  • Excellent communication skills and highly proficient with financial discussion and technical details

  • Must be flexible working some weekend and evening appointments

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

  • Applicants must be 21 years old or older and have reliable transportation


Commercial Solar Sales

Seeking successful B2B business development managers focused on solar in the Connecticut market. | 100% Commission with start-up bonus program based on sales results.

DESCRIPTION

Helio Energy Solutions is looking for highly motivated and talented people that are passionate about renewable energy, delivering the best customer experience, and earning significant income while doing it. This position is for direct business to business sales in the commercial and industrial solar market, based in Connecticut. Being the face of the company to Helio Solar clients, we are seeking to bring on Business Development Managers who are driven to build their network, generate a book of business, and close large deals.

Entry into this position is 100% commission based with quarterly bonuses based on sales results. However, for reps with more than 3-years selling commercial solar and a verifiable proven track record of success, a commission structure with draw can be discussed.

This position is highly selective as it provides the highest commission payouts and deals with C-level executives. Our reputation is essential in the market which is why the commissions match the type of candidate we’re looking for.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sales of solar electricity to local businesses with high electricity costs

  • Establish relationship with C-level executives and help them understand their electricity costs and the cost of doing nothing

  • Through use of tablet or computer, utilize a variety of web-based apps to walk the client through the buying journey established by Helio Solar

  • Record all sales activities in company CRM (customer relationship management) tool

  • Participate in bi-weekly remote sales calls, quarterly sales meetings, and training as required

  • Must have desire and drive to earn over $150-$200K a year

  • Need to have verifiable success with B2B sales (typically 4+ years of direct B2B experience)

  • Excellent communication skills and highly proficient with financial discussion and technical details

  • Flexible working schedule, most appointments M-F, 8a-5p

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

  • Applicants must be 21 years old or older and have reliable transportation
